Discover compassionate end-of-life care
Whether for yourself or a family member, hospice care is often unfamiliar territory. As a result, you may find yourself with unanswered questions such as, “What services does hospice provide?” or “Where is hospice care offered?”
That’s why at Ethos Hospice, we’ve created this guide to explain exactly what hospice care services could mean for you or your loved one.
Where experience meets compassion
At Ethos Hospice, our skilled nurses and home health aides ensure quality care while empowering individuals to make every moment count. Whether for hospice at home, in an assisted living community, or at a nursing facility, we bring our care team to you.
We begin by painting a holistic picture of your needs and end-of-life goals. Next, we ensure the right medications are taken at the right times. To us, medication management also means teaching family caregivers how to keep their loved one on track with their pills and prescriptions.
With comfort at heart, we also develop personalized pain management strategies to relieve uncomfortable symptoms. These are just a few of the ways our experienced care team delivers holistic hospice services.
Our dedication to families
What services does hospice provide at home? At Ethos Hospice, this is one of the most common questions we receive. Our answer is as unique as the loved ones and families we serve. That’s because we believe in the power of tailored services to ensure a graceful and affirming end-of-life journey.
For families, this means offering education on the road ahead, spiritual counseling for comfort and clarity, and bereavement support for 13 months to navigate life after loss.
We also offer respite care for family caregivers who are feeling strained or even burned out. Here, our trained volunteers offer a short-term helping hand to alleviate the difficulties of caring for a loved one.
About our life-enriching services
At Ethos Hospice, our life-enriching services bring an elevated level of comfort and connection to loved ones. Whether at a residential home, nursing facility, or assisted living community, these services can spark joy even during the most trying times.
Our life-enriching services can include pet therapy, healing touch, therapeutic music, aromatherapy, and much more. We can also craft memory bears from your loved one’s clothing and preserve your loved one’s stories on a secure voice recorder to honor their legacy. These are just a few of the ways we support both loved ones and family members.
