We take pride in our core values and the high-quality care we offer patients, but you don’t just have to take our word for it! Hear firsthand about Jane and Rodney Reith’s positive experience with Ethos Home Care.
The Skilled Home Care Provided by Ethos Home Care
After two strokes, Rodney spent a total of six weeks at Sanford Rehab and Sheyenne Crossings Rehab. Jane wanted to bring her husband home, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, but he still required care. This is when they turned to Ethos Home Care to receive skilled home care services.
“We had an occupational therapist, a physical therapist and a nurse,” Jane recalled. “They were all young girls who we just fell in love with because they treated us with so much respect, and they loved our humor and we all just had a lot of fun while we were learning all these things that they taught us. They really taught me how to take care of Rodney in the home.”
When you’re a patient at Ethos Home Care, you can expect to receive high quality, compassionate senior care that’s meant to help you live a higher quality lifestyle. Our team members are hands on and will always assist all patients to the best of their ability. This level of care is really what stood out for Jane and Rodney.
“What made the team members at Ethos Home Care stand out is that they were so personable, and they were so smart,” Jane explained. “For instance, they had all kinds of examples of ways to get in and out of bed easier. Whitney showed me a bar for the bed on Amazon, we ordered it and she installed it.”
Our professionally trained team members and therapists are dedicated to helping you get back to being able to live as independently as possible. They will work to evaluate your home and determine what changes can be made to help you live a more independent lifestyle.
When our team inspected Jane and Rodney’s home, we recommended a way to make bathing easier for Rodney. We also took the time to teach Jane how to assist, so that they both could feel confident each and every time they entered the shower.
“Carrie, our occupational therapist changed us from one bathroom to the next. We have a walk-in shower in the master bath, but Carrie said it was too small, so she had me go out and get a transfer bench, and she showed us how to do it,” Jane explained. “It was amazing because I never dreamt that I could do that by myself, that I could help Rodney shower by myself.”
At Ethos Home Care, your safety and wellbeing are our top priority. That’s why are team members are dedicated to meeting your unique needs and helping you live a more fulfilling life each and every day.
“I would like to say thanks to Carrie and Whitney, those were our therapists, and Ciara, our RN, that we are going to miss terribly,” Jane said. “They saved us. They made it possible for us to stay in our home, and we will forever be grateful to them.”
